Community Information Centre
The Community Information Centre (CIC) is a department within the Office of the President that enables the University to keep stakeholders and the general public informed about its academic, research and community service activities through the various media forms
DWU makes a significant contribution to higher education in Papua New Guinea and is expanding its services to the Pacific region. CIC is tasked to inform the public via the media about the important role of higher education plays towards the betterment of society
It is the role of the Centre to ensure the contribution of the University to higher education and community service within its campuses and in the wider community as an agency for higher education is brought to the attention of the general public
The CIC is responsible for the publication of books and the University’s flagship research journal, Contemporary Papua New Guinea Studies, and other public information material through its DWU Press
