Department of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) provides the highest levels of ICT support and services to the staff and students of the university and its affiliated and amalgamated campuses.

It's staff are involved in a diverse number of important roles ranging from managing our Customer Operations, Desktop Support Services, Computer Laboratory Maintenance & Management, LAN Administration, Web Development and Communications, right through to maintaining the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) for the university. ICT department is dedicated to provide the best services possible to the DWU community.

The Role of the Help Desk

Helpdesk is a first point of contact for any faults or queries about the ICT system supported by the University’s ICT Department. It is available to everyone entitled to use the University ICT related facilities and is open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Queries and or faults can be reported via email (helpdesk@dwu.ac.pg), telephone on extension 888 (Direct Dial +675 424 1 888) or in person. Helpdesk is located in the ICT Building next to the library.

ICT Helpdesk is available to assist members of the University to be more productive through the use of the facilities it provides. For the efficient use of the available technology, Department is commited to assist members of the university including staffs and students whom may need assistance when encounter ICT related issues.
