Mr Martin Daniel is currently a lecturer and senior program coordinator in the Information Systems department. Prior to joining the university Mr Daniel worked with various companies and government bodies in the area of information technology. He joined Divine Word University in 2008. He teaches and coordinates third and fourth year level students including supervision of students final year projects. He also performs various functions in the university. He is the administrator for the Moodle e-learning system for the university, chairperson for the faculty curriculum committee and coordinator for open day and annual symposium for the department. His research interest areas include building customised computer networks, enterprise software system and integrated information systems, developing and teaching ICT curriculum in Papua New Guinea (PNG), and modelling of technological developments, implementation and use of electronic services in PNG. He is currently doing his PhD doctoral studies on the adoption of e-government initiatives in PNG.
