Experience
Dr Anastasia Sai is a lecturer with the Department of PNG Studies and International Relations. Dr Sai taught in a high school from 1982 to 1996 before coming to Divine Word Institute in 1998. She teaches Post-Colonial Literature, teaches Gender Studies, and Major Research Project in the PGIR Department. Dr Sai also works with women in the communities to bring gender awareness and mentors students and junior staff in the department of PNG studies and international relationals.

Research Interests
Doing an evaluation of the gender policy in Education and the impact it has on students and staff in schools in Madang Province. Evaluating of the Gender Equality Syllabus schools in Madang Province; ‘Constructs of Gender in Papua New Guinea; ‘Gender and Governance in PNG; ‘ Men, Masculinities and Violence in PNG

Publications
Editing story books for school children from former Department of PNG Studies students’ creative writing work for publication. Dr Sai has also published some articles, journals and co-published books. such as ‘Renbo Tok PisinBukBilong Ol Leta.
