Stephanie Sageo-Tapungu is a lecturer with the Department of Communication Arts at Divine Word University (DWU). She has a Bachelor of Education, specialising in Language & Literature, and Social Sciences from the University of Goroka in Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province. She also holds a Master of Communication, specialising in Organisational Communication from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. She specialises in Language and Literature, History, International Relations, Corporate Communication, Business Communication, Public Relations, Communication for Social Change, Issues and Crisis Management & Communication, Marketing Communication, Cross Cultural Communication, Organisational Behaviour, Communication Campaigns, Organisational and Management Communication, Business Negotiations, Qualitative Research Methods, Professional Communication, and Business Ethics.

She currently teaches Business Communication, Corporate Communication, Public Relations, PNG Literature, Mobile Phones & Social Media Communication, and Communication and Development to undergraduate students in the Departments of Communication Arts and Business Studies. Before joining DWU in 2013, Stephanie worked as a lecturer at Kokopo Business College in Kokopo, East New Britain Province. She taught Business English and Communication, and Business Ethics to Diploma in Business Studies students. Her research interests include women and leadership in PNG, communicating in Tok Pisin, relationship of journalism and public relations in PNG.
