The Academic Division of Divine Word University is led by a great team of highly qualified, multicultural, dynamic individuals. We are committed to actively create, promote and sustain a stimulating environment in which students are challenged, encouraged and supported in pursuit of academic and personal growth and participation in the life of the DWU community. Consistent with the vision and mission of DWU, the Academic Division continues to offer high quality undergraduate and postgraduate programs through research, teaching, learning and community engagement activities. Programs are offered on DWU’s Port Moresby, Rabaul, Wewak and Madang campuses and at other centres where there are student groups. Momentum continues to expand electronic access to learning for both full-time and part-time students and staff. Programs range from certificate to doctoral levels offering pathways for ongoing learning and qualifications. Fields of study include business, management, accountancy, tourism and hospitality, information systems, mathematics and computing science, teacher education, social and religious studies, medicine, health, physiotherapy, international relations, journalism and Papua New Guinea studies. Please refer to faculty sites for further information on programs. DWU enjoys an excellent reputation and graduates give glowing accounts of their time with us.
