Successful Open Day

Divine Word University staged a successful Open Day at its newly opened St John Paul II Community Centre in the Madang campus today, Sunday 01st May 2016.

Hundreds of people passed through the display and information booths during the Open Day which is organized annually for the University through its faculties and departments to showcase to the public its academic, research and community engagement activities.


The occasion brings together partners from the government, the private sectors and community organisations to share information and engage with the public.

The theme for the 2016 Open Day was “DWU in collaborative learning and knowledge creation in the global higher education network.”

Head of the Delegation of European Union to Papua New Guinea, His Excellency Ambassador Ioannis Giogkarakis-Argyropoulos was the guest of honour.
