March 2000. Obtained Doctorate Degree in Curriculum & Instruction. Majoring in Bilingual & Multicultural Education. Pennsylvania State University USA.
November 1990. Obtained M.Ed. TESOL. University of Manchester. UK.
December 1986. Obtained B.Ed. TESOL. UPNG. PNG.
December 1976. Obtained Diploma in Secondary Teaching. Goroka Teachers College. PNG

Experience:

2013. Returned to Education Faculty as HOD for Flexible Learning Centre to coordinate all Flexible Learning Education programs.

2012. Appointed Dean of Faculty of Flexible Learning. Taught Bachelor of Management Research Unit, Taught the PSWDP program of Bachelor of Public Administration management research unit in Madang. Continued teaching and Postgraduate teaching and supervision in the  Education Faculty. Taught in the PSWDP program of Advance Diploma in Governance in Kokopo East New Britain. This program involved 19 senior public servants from the NGI region

2011. Appointed Senior Lecturer Faculty of Education Divine Word University Madang PNG. Taught In-service teachers in language skills courses, teaching skills for non qualified teachers and lecturers from DWU and PNG Maritime College lecturers. Wrote Academic Writing Unit Resource book. Taught and Supervised Education Faculty Masters students. Involved also in the Post Graduate Ph D supervision at DWU.

From 1987-2010. I was employed at what is now University of Goroka. From a Teaching-fellow at Goroka Campus of UPNG I taught English, produced learning materials and trained specialized language teachers to teach English in the PNG secondary schools.

Over the 24 years of training secondary school English teachers at the University of Goroka I have served as HOD of Language & Literature Department. I have been an Acting Dean of Humanities Faculty for over a year.

From March 2005 to December 2008 I was the School Liaison Officer at the University of Goroka. My main responsibility was the coordination and implementation of the Fouth Year Teaching Practice

Personal Consultancies:

From 2006-2010 I have been the Chief Examiner for Writing the National Grade 12 Language & Literature Examination.
Have been an English Syllabus Advisor with the National English Syllabus Advisory Boards.
Participated in the Production of Curriculum materials for the secondary schools Outcome Based Education in the formative years.
While at the University of Goroka I was an active member of PNG Linguistic Society.
Member of the USA Universities Alumni Chapter in PNG.
