Diploma in Teaching (Primary) St Benedict’s Campus

Program structures

An undergraduate Diploma in Primary Teaching program is offered at DWU St Benedict’s campus in Wewak. This is a full-time six-trimester program conducted over two years. The curriculum follows the guidelines provided by the Papua New Guinea National Department of Education. This program is currently being converted to a degree program.

Student intake

It is a requirement for students to have grade 12 level of education to enrol in the pre-service Diploma in Primary Teaching at St Benedict’s Teachers College campus. Selection takes place at the end of each year for the following year. Applications from non-school leavers should be sent to the DWU Student Administration Office or email on registrar@dwu.ac.pg
