Overview

The Master of Leadership in Business Administration program of Divine Word University develops leadership and expertise in business and management necessary for national growth and development and keeping apace with the demands of global competitiveness. It trains graduates to become competent, socially responsible managers for Papua New Guinea, the Pacific Region and beyond. Successful completion of the program will assist individuals with advancement into management positions within the business, private and public sectors. As the program is offered in flexible learning mode, it allows teachers the opportunity of upgrading their qualifications while still working.

Applicants must have a bachelor degree or its equivalent in a business related field. Programs are offered at various times throughout the year. Program Structure

The program is designed for distance education delivery and extends over four years. It builds on existing policies and procedures in the operation for masters’ programs under flexible learning. The program is comprised of eight units. In addition to Business units, students undertake Leadership units. Students would generally complete one unit a semester. Assignments should be successfully completed by the end of the each semester before enrolling in the following semester. Each unit has a 10 credit point value.
