Diploma in Justice Administration
Overview
The Diploma in Justice Administration program is a two year flexible learning programs that is designed for staff in police, correctional services and justice sectors of society. Two-week residential programs begin each semester, followed by studies in distance education mode. Students develop competencies to analyse and organise information to comply with accountability requirements; build public acceptance of their authorised use of power and authority; manage resources; implement government policy; encourage respect and confidence for the rules of society; develop a culture where public office authority is not abused for personal gain; communicate effectively; and apply processes of good governance in justice sector workplaces. Students successfully completing the diploma program are eligible for enrolment in the Bachelor of Management program.
