Diploma in Women in Public Sector Management
Overview
The Diploma in Women in Public Sector Management is a two-year flexible learning program that develops knowledge and skills for upholding policies and equity in the public service. The program is designed to build capacity of women in public sector positions. Two-week residential programs begin each semester, followed by studies in distance education mode. The program explores how to promote the values and policies of public service in PNG. Competencies are developed in workplace management, preparing reports, upholding gender equity and Christian ethics, managing resources (physical, financial and human), counselling, developing computer skills and managing change. Students successfully completing the diploma program are eligible for enrolment in the Bachelor of Management program.

Admission
Applicants are required to be employed. This is necessary due to the nature of assessment tasks, which are directly related to students’ work environments and workplace issues.
