Overview
The Diploma in Workplace Training and Development is a two-year flexible learning program that is aimed at people who are responsible for planning and delivering staff training programs in government, business church and private organizations. Two-week residential programs begin each semester, followed by studies in distance education mode. Students develop understandings of adult learning principles, how to conduct training needs analyses and plan and implement programs to meet those needs in ways that benefit the achievement of organizational goals. Computer and finance units are also included.
Students may choose to exit after one semester with a Certificate in Workplace Training and Development program which is a valuable program in itself. Students successfully completing the diploma program are eligible for enrolment in the Bachelor of Management program.
