Introduction to Computers and Word Processing
This unit is an entry level unit into the computing field. It is strongly suggested that students start off with this unit. The units outcomes are;
- Recognize the relevant occupational health and safety practices associated with using a Personal Computer (PC)
- Describe basic computing terms and concepts
- Manage computer files
- Create, save, retrieve and print a word-processed document
- Use manuals and on-line help to solve problems
- Create and print simple mail-merge documents
- Apply recycling techniques to minimize paper waste
Introduction to Spreadsheets
In this unit students explore fundamentals of spreadsheets. The units outcomes are;
- Understanding of the capability of spreadsheets

In this unit students explore fundamentals of presenting electronically based business reports. The units outcomes are;

- Basic presentation techniques
Book-Keeping with MYOB
In this unit students are introduced to the techniques used for electronic based book-keeping. The units outcomes are;
- Start, navigate around and exit from MYOB
- Use MYOB's help system to obtain assistance
- Create a new company file in MYOB
- Modify a chart of accounts to suit specific business needs
- Enter account opening balances into a new company file
- Enter historical balances for customers and suppliers
- Enter customer and supplier details into MYOB's card file
- Setup inventory for a new company file
- Make purchases from suppliers
- Pay for purchases that have been made from suppliers
- Make sales to customers
- Deal with more complex invoicing matters
- Record customer payments
- Work with inventory on a day-to-day basis
- Write cheques to make payments

Attaché Course
This 5 day course introduces participants to the fundamentals of accountings as well as the use of Attaché accounting package. Training outcomes are;

Website Design
In this unit students explore fundamentals presenting electronically based business reports. The units outcomes are;
- Understand the basics of HTML and create your first HTML Page
- Explore the use of HTML tables to layout a web page
- Recognise the many different types of HTML links used to navigate a web page and web site. Understand the importance of navigation in relation to people browsing your site
- Learn how to add images to a web page and understand the importance of page sizes and download speeds
- Understand use of style sheets to control the look of a web site
- To be capable of designing and planning a basic web site that satisfies a client requirement
- Understand the importance of interpreting web site specifications in the planning and constructing of a web site
- Make your web site visible to the outside world
