10th Oct, 2011

Work has begun on the K8.3 million accommodation blocks for students at the Divine Word University (DWU) main campus in Madang.

The project administrator, Oti Ratarone from DWU said the project is financed by the PNG Incentive Fund of the Australian government and it will see the construction of five double-story dormitories providing space for 78 beds for under-graduate students.

He said three dormitories are for female students and two for male students.

Mr Ratarone said the dormitories are expected to be completed sometime in February 2012 with the official opening penciled for March 2012.
