We understand that direct family members or relatives who lost their loved ones in the plane crash in Madang on October 13, 2011 would like to obtain more information concerning this unfortunate incident and know when they could come and with respect take the remains of their loved ones to their home village.

We would like to inform you that the Forensic Team obtained most of the samples and have brought them to Australia for proper identification.  However, we are not sure how long it will take for the Team to establish the identities.

Please provide my office with your contact details (phone numbers, fax or email) so that when we receive the results of the DNA, we will personally call each one of you.
