Professor Donald Ross is a visiting Professor to DWU. He lectures in the Master of Business Administration and Master of Professional Accounting programs, both offered under the DWU Faculty of Business and Informatics at the Port Moresby campus. Recently, Profesor Ross and his colleague, Dr Mike Hopkins, workshopped and mentored faculty staff in the area of business research at the Madang campus.

Professor Donald Ross, BBA, MBA, PhD, has 26 years of university teaching and research experience, with earlier continuing appointments at Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Macquarie University and the University of Western Sydney in Australia, and at St. Francis Xavier University in Canada.

He studied finance, economics and accounting at Acadia and Dalhousie universities in Canada and then completed his doctorate in finance at the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom. His professional career in finance has involved financing large capital projects in Africa, the Middle East, and South America, consulting to numerous firms, and advising government agencies responsible for exporter development and policy setting. He has also written leading professional texts in both Canada and Australia to guide managers in their export finance activities.
