Summary Karika Lynne Anea is a registered nursing officer from Kikori in the Gulf Province. She worked as a nurse educator since 1997. She initially taught as a tutor in various community health workers (CHW) training schools in PNG for 7 years then as a senior tutor at Lutheran School of nursing (LSON) for 5 years before joining the Rural Health Department at DWU as a lecturer in 2015 and is her current role. She has been involved in the development of the current CHW curriculum and the diploma in general nursing PSD for the LSON. She is also involved in the review and development of the revised Program Specification Document (PSD) for Health Extension (HE) – rural health (RH) program with specific inputs in the clinical nursing components in the HE (RH) PSD. She is a registered general nurse with the nursing council of PNG and is specialized in paediatric nursing. Research Projects: |
