WELCOME
Welcome to Divine Word University Flexible Learning Center (FLC), Madang Campus.
The Center was established in 2013 as an alternate pathway for offering tertiary education to the working class officers who are unable to enroll full time due to work commitments or personal reasons. The FLC provides an excellent opportunity for upgrading knowledge, skills and qualifications.
The Center plays an important role in providing administrative support for lecturers and students in DWU faculty flexible learning programs. Our key responsibilities include: front line client support, vetting and screening of applications, coordinating enrollment, ensure academic records are properly maintained for all current and former participants, transcript production and dissemination and logistical support on behalf of the faculties:
- Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
- Faculty of Education
- Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences
- Faculty of Business and Informatics
Our dedicated team ensures that all logistical support is given to the participants when they travel in for the residential component of 2–3 weeks. Upon arrival, our Student Support Officer will be there to meet the participants, provide necessary assistance and ensure that they settle well in their rooms.
Orientation for all new participants begin on the first day of lectures. Included in the orientation session is a tour around campus. We make sure our participants arrive safely on campus, settle into their residential areas and look forward to commencing lectures.
Thank you for choosing Divine Word University. We hope you enjoy your academic journey with us.
Mr Jimmy Mairanji
FLC Coordinator
