Join us as we celebrate 30 years of excellence with a vibrant Motorcade theme: “DWU at 30: Past, Present and Future.”
Past – Honoring our pioneers and founders: the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) and the Holy Spirit Sisters (SpSS), from the humble beginnings of Divine Word Catholic High School to Divine Word Institute (until 1995).
Present – Celebrating our transformation into a University in 1996, now with four Faculties, four campuses (Madang, Wewak, Rabaul, Port Moresby), thousands of graduates, alumni harvest, and e-learning innovations.
Future – Looking ahead to campus expansions from 2027 onwards, with the amalgamation of Holy Trinity Teachers College and the Bougainville School of Nursing, strengthening DWU’s reach across Papua New Guinea and beyond, and producing even more graduates into the future.
