Graduation Eligibility & Requirements

Congratulations on successfully completing the academic requirements for your program. Before you can graduate, please review the information below and complete all required steps within the specified deadline.

Confirm Your Graduation

All eligible students must confirm their graduation status by indicating whether they will:

  • Attend the graduation ceremony, or
  • Graduate in absentia (not attend the ceremony).

Students are encouraged to submit their confirmation as soon as possible to assist with graduation planning.

Graduation Fees

To remain eligible for graduation, students must:

  • Pay the prescribed graduation fee before the published deadline
  • Ensure all outstanding university fees have been settled
Important: Graduation certificates may be withheld until all outstanding financial obligations have been cleared.

  • Entry into the program requires successful completion of Grade 12 national examinations with an overall "B" average,in English (language and Literature),social sciences, mathematics, religious studies and personal development.
Attending the Graduation Ceremony

Students attending the ceremony should:

  • Confirm their attendance before the specified deadline
  • Make their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Hire or purchase academic regalia (gown and stole) as instructed
  • Attend the official graduation rehearsal.
  • Arrive at the graduation venue before the commencement of the ceremony
Graduating in Absentia

Students who are unable to attend the ceremony must

  • Confirm that they will graduate in absentia
  • Provide or reconfirm their current postal address for the delivery of their graduation certificate and academic transcript

Failure to confirm your mailing address may delay the delivery of your graduation documents.
