DWU Alumni Madang Chapter Donates K13,000 for 30th Anniversary

Divine Word University, Madang Campus today received a K10,000 cheque from the DWU Alumni Madang Chapter in support of the 30th Anniversary Festival of Legacy and Vision.
In addition to the K10,000 contribution presented today through a dummy cheque, the Alumni Madang Chapter had earlier contributed K3,000 towards preparations for the anniversary celebrations, bringing its total contribution to K13,000.
 
Receiving the cheque on behalf of the University was DWU President, Professor Fr Philip Gibbs, who expressed his appreciation for the continued support and commitment of the University's alumni community.
 
Presenting the cheque on behalf of the Alumni Chapter, Mr. Rex Elijah Sos said the contribution reflected the alumni's gratitude to the University for the role it has played in shaping their lives and careers.
“Divine Word University has played a vital role in shaping and moulding us into who we are today.
 
This contribution is our way of giving back. Although it may seem small, we are proud to support and contribute to the success of the University's 30th Anniversary celebrations,” Mr. Sos said.
This generous contribution reflects the strong and enduring bond between Divine Word University and its graduates, whose support continues to strengthen the institution's mission and legacy. Together, we celebrate 30 years of excellence, service, and transformation.
