DWU Celebrates Student Personal Development

Divine Word University, Madang Campus tonight celebrated students who successfully completed the Psycho-Education Personal Development Program, following four sessions conducted throughout the semester.
Students who participated in the program were presented with Certificates of Appreciation, recognizing their commitment, discipline and willingness to grow personally and professionally.
Delivering the keynote address, the DWU President Professor Fr. Philip Gibbs congratulated the students and encouraged them to continue developing the values and skills gained through the program.
“Personal development is not only about gaining knowledge, but also about building confidence, strengthening character, improving relationships, and preparing yourselves to make positive contributions to your families, communities, workplaces, and our nation," he said.
 
The President further encouraged the students to carry forward the values of integrity, leadership, compassion, resilience and service, reminding them:
“May this be one important step in your lifelong journey of learning and growth."
The evening also featured a special performance by students from Manus Province, adding to the celebration of the students’ achievements.
More than a graduation, the occasion celebrated the young leaders of tomorrow, encouraging students to recognize their potential, strengthen their character and use what they have learned to become positive agents of change in their communities and beyond.
