DWU Wewak Mobilises 600+ for Cleanathon

Recently, Divine Word University, St. Benedicts Campus in Wewak hosted a major cleanathon, bringing together more than 600 participants from the university and the wider community.
The participants included staff, their spouses and children, students, Callan members, and Divine Word University (DWU) alumni, all of whom took part in the community initiative aimed at promoting a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment.
The cleanathon covered several locations across Wewak, including Wewak Town, Dagua, Kaltex, and Meni Beach. The activity reflected DWU's commitment to community service, environmental stewardship, and responsible citizenship.
 
The cleanathon was one of the key activities organised as part of the celebrations marking the 30th Anniversary of St. Benedict’s Campus, Wewak, which will be held from 14 to 16 September 2026. It brought together staff, students, families, alumni, and members of the wider DWU community in a spirit of unity, service, and celebration.
The strong turnout and enthusiastic participation demonstrated the university community's shared commitment to making a positive impact on the environment while strengthening community ties through volunteerism and collective action.

2027 Non-School Leaver (NSL) Applicants – Important Notice

2027 INTAKE

This notice is for all Non-School Leavers (NSL) applicants who applied to Divine Word University (DWU) for the 2027 academic year.

1. BACHELOR OF MEDICINE AND BACHELOR OF SURGERY (MBBS) ENTRY EXAM.

All invitation emails were sent to all MBBS NSL applicants with information on the testing venue and dates.

All applicants must be at the testing venue at least 45 minutes before the exam starts and present the following documents;

  • The Invitation Letter (attached to the email)
  • A form of Identification (ID card)

Only those who have passed the entry exam will be advised to apply through the DHERST NOAS portal for selection.

If you have applied and have not received an invitation email regarding the entry exam, please contact us before the 23rd of September, 2026.

2. FULL TIME PROGRAMS DWU CAMPUS (MADANG, RABAUL, PORT MORESBY & WEWAK) – DHERST NOAS APPLICATION

All successful applicants will be advised through email by the respective campuses of your selection into the programs. Only Shortlisted candidates will be advised to apply through the DHERST NOAS portal for selections.

Because of the highly competitive nature of the NSL selection process and our program quotas, not all have been granted a space. We encourage you to continue to pursue your educational goals and wish you every success in your endeavors.
