Academic Programs

Bachelor of Arts (PNG & International Studies)

The Bachelor of Arts (Papua New Guinea and International
Studies) program is designed to equip students to deal with
social and political issues affecting the country and its
neighbours.

Papua New Guinea (PNG) is fast becoming a
strategic place not only for its industrial and resource boom
but also for its strategic location between Asian neighbours,
Australia/New Zealand and the Pacific Island countries. The
program importantly embodies Melanesian cultural courses;
Politics; Community Development; it embraces Peace and
Gender studies; and is balanced with International Relations
units.
