Information Communication and Technology
Information Communication and Technology (ICT) comprise of Helpdesk Services, Infrastructure and Network Support. Our structure emphasizes the delivery of timely, quality and innovative information technology solutions to provide the University with convenient access to appropriate information and services.
Our staff are involved in a diverse number of important roles ranging from managing our Customer Operations, Desktop Support Services, Maintenance & Management of our Infrastructure facilities, LAN Administration, Web Development and Communications, right through to maintaining the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) for the university. The ICT division is dedicated to providing the best services possible to the DWU community and its affiliated and amalgamated campuses.
Aiming to provide the highest levels of technical ICT support and services to its users in the University, the responsibilities embodied within the ICT division ensure that our work environment meets the broad university community, that the investments and decisions we make align with the strategic directions of the university and that we appropriately utilize our resources.
Getting Help: ICT Service Desk
ICT Helpdesk is a first point of contact for all faults or queries about the ICT system supported by the University’s ICT Division within various campuses including Madang, POM, Wewak and Rabaul campuses.
Our services is available to everyone entitled to use the University ICT related facilities.
ICT Helpdesk is available to assist members of the University to be more productive through the use of the technology resources it provides and supports. For efficient use of the available technology, ICT Division is committed to assist members of the university including staff and students who need assistance when using resources we support.
