The DWU Marketing Division (DWUM) is the communications and marketing division of the University. The communications and marketing activities of the division are intended to enhance and protect DWU’s institutional reputation, advance and strengthen the University’s brand as an internationally competitive university responsive to the needs of Papua New Guinea and beyond. The DWUM exists to buttress the DWU’s relevance among key audiences which include current and prospective students and parents, donors, the PNG Government, partners, alumni and friends and the general public.
The DWUM is an operational division of the University under the Office of the President. It provides a supporting role in the University through the pivotal function of integrated communications and marketing. This is done under the guidance of the Seven Strategic Objectives of the Third Decade Strategic Master Plan of the University 2016-2026 to operationalize the integrated communications and marketing strategies.
The DWU Marketing Division incorporates news and media relations, advertising and brand management, alumni relations, events management and publications through the DWU Press.
