Welcome to the Centre for Social Research
The Centre for Social Research was established in November 2017 within the Postgraduate and Research Centre. Staff and students involved in the Centre undertake a range of applied, multi-disciplinary, research on contemporary social and environmental issues in Papua New Guinea and abroad. We also contribute to postgraduate teaching at DWU and provide research skills training to staff.

Teaching
Staff at the Centre for Social Research make a strong contribution to teaching in the Master of Research Methodology. We also provide guest lectures across DWU’s four faculties. Outside of the classroom, we provide hands-on training in research skills by engaging students and staff in applied research projects.
