Summary

Alphonse Zuivani BEGANI is a qualified Environmental Health Officer who has a Master’s Degree in Environmental Health and Occupational Health and Safety. His professional experience commenced in 1992 when he took up professional environmental practice with the National Capital District Commission Health Division after completing his Environmental Health studies in 1991. In 2002 Mr. Begani joined former Paramedical College to take up teaching career which is a National Training Institution under the National Department of Health. Between 2004 -2006 Mr. Begani took up Undergraduate studies in Environmental Health, Applied Sciences at Flinders University, Adelaide, South Australia. Then in 2007 he continued academic work at Divine Word University till the end of 2013.
In 2014 -2015 Mr. Begani took up Post Graduate studies in Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Queensland. And in the middle of July 2015 he took up academic career after successfully completing his studies. Mr. Begani is currently the Head of Department for Environmental Health Program.
Other achievements include, Consultancy services relating to Water Supply and Sanitation services. This includes writing formative and summative evaluation reports on completed Community Development Projects implemented by NGOs in the remote areas in Papua New Guinea. In addition, writing technical reports, specializes in Workplace Health and Safety, Food Safety Training for food handlers, supervisors, and Managers. Moreover, Mr. Begani initiated Occupational Health and Safety Symposium in 2010, 2012 & 2016.Summery Description
