Her current research interest areas include implementation factors of ERP systems in Papua New Guinea (PNG), user perceptions on e-learning platforms in PNG, how continuous innovation from digital disruptions can stimulate a creative economy in PNG, and how taxicab geometry can be used in Excel to calculate real distances.

Maryanne Bagore (Ms) is currently a lecturer in Information Systems Department. She joined the university after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in IS at Divine Word University in 2009. She teaches programming, enterprise systems and system analysis & design units to IS students. She also teaches spreadsheet management and database management (IS service units) to Business Studies and Health Management students.
