Research interest: The research focus on clinical, social and public health studies. In the clinical area, recently focused on bacterial resistance for primary and secondary infections. Research fields of the interest are clinical trials in surgery, orthopedic and trauma to work out cost effective management plans adjusted to PNG setting. Another field of interest are epidemiological studies, rural medicine and healthy lifestyle.

Summary
Professor of Surgery at the Faculty of Health Sciences at DWU, consultant general and orthopaedic surgeon at Modilon General Hospital. Initiated and completed 7 developmental grants for the Modilon General Hospital developing the orthopedic unit providing services to the Momase region.
Presently administrating and developing a new medical program (MBBS) at DWU.
An active researcher with numerous local and international peer review journals publications (36), editor of two journals, many presentations at international and national professional symposia; research focus on clinical, social and public health studies. Author of 1 surgical book for primary health workers (2 editions).
Also a missionary, religious brother of the Society of Divine Word (SVD)
