Summary

I started teaching in 1977 and taught at a number of high schools for ten years. In 1989 I went to Keravat National High School (KNHS) and taught there for twenty years. When KNHS was closed in 2011 I came to Kabaleo Teachers College. Divine Word University took over the college and it became Rabaul Campus in 2015, I was then given a three year contract. I renewed the contract this year.

1974-1976 Goroka Teachers` College. Studied Diploma in Secondary Teaching; majoring in Science, Commerce and English
1977 Kondiu High School, Simbu. I took grade seven classes in Science and English
1978-1983 St Mary`s (Girls) High School, Asitavi. I taught Science, Commerce, Agriculture and Religious Instructions. I was also subject Mistress of Commerce and Science. In 1983 I was acting on the position as Deputy Headmistress
1984-1985 University of Papua New Guinea. Studied Bachelor of Education (In-service)
1986 St Mary`s (Girls) High School, Asitavi. I taught Science, Commerce and Religious Instructions
1987 Tusbab High School, Madang. I was Teacher in Charge of Commerce and taught Science as well
1988 St Mary`s (Girls) High School, Asitavi. I taught Science, Commerce and Religious Instruction
1989-1996 Kerevat National High School. I taught Language and Literature as my qualification in Science in general, not a specialized discipline
1997 I was awarded a two year AusAid scholarship to study Master of Educational Leadership which I completed in one year and returned in January 1998
1998-2010 Kerevat National High School. I held a position of HOD. I taught Language and Literature and Introduction to Computing. For two years, 2002 and 2003 I was acting on the position of Deputy Principle Academic.
2011-2014 Our Lady of Sacred Heart Teachers’ College Kabaleo. Teaching
2015- 2017 Lecturer at DWU, OLSH Kabaleo – Rabaul campus
