Mr. Allan Sumb is a pioneer graduate of the Bachelor's Degree program in Tourism & Hospitality Management at Divine Word University. Prior to his degree studies, he completed his diploma and was employed by different Tourism and Hospitality establishments in PNG for a number of years including Hotel Poroman as a Duty Manager.

After his degree studies, Allan was employed by the Education Department of PNG under Technical Vocational Education Training Division (TVET) and attached with National Polytechnic Institute of PNG as the Section Head of Tourism. Mr. Sumb has obtained a master’s degree with 2nd class honors from Otago University, New Zealand. He has presented papers at national and international conferences on safety and security issues & destination management. He published several research papers both within PNG and abroad and currently undertaking Master’s Research Methodology at Divine Word University.
